Lake Bronson State Park Bird Trail

    Lake Bronson State Park, 3,598 acres in size, is located two miles east of the town of Lake Bronson, in Kittson County. The park is located within the aspen-parkland ecological province of NW Minnesota and features unique associated wildlife such as moose and sandhill cranes. Unique amenities include an observation tower and a new visitor’s center. There are three campgrounds in the park plus several primitive sites and a group camp.

    May through June, August through October.
  • Birds to Look For

    Waterfowl, Sharp-tailed Grouse, shorebirds including Upland Sandpiper, Long-eared and Northern Saw-whet Owls, woodpeckers, warblers, sparrows and finches

    Vehicle permits are required. Area map and bird checklist are available. Hiking trails allow for excellent park access.
