These two sites are both owned by The Nature Conservancy. Together, they encompass 1,540 acres and are excellent examples of native tallgrass prairie.

Best Times to Visit

April through October.

Birds to Look For

Northern Harrier; American Kestrel; Sandhill Crane; Yellow Rail; Greater Prairie Chicken; Sedge Wren; Marbled Godwit; Alder & Willow Flycatchers; prairie sparrows.

Area Notes

Waterproof footgear recommended. No established trails. Foot traffic O.K.
